Wordle has taken the world by storm since Josh Wardle first launched this cool word game back in September 2021 (He sold it to the New York Times in February 2022).
In a nutshell, Wordle gives the player up to six attempts to guess the 5 letter word of the day. After each guess, the colour of the tiles change according to how close your guess is to the word of the day. Green means it’s the correct letter in the correct position, yellow means it’s the correct letter in the wrong position, and grey means the letter is not in the word.
This mega-popular fun and addictive word game has spawned numerous variations of the original game for players who just can’t get enough of the game and want to keep playing.
These include:
- Hello Wordl (choose to guess a word between 4 to 11 letters, plus unlimited plays)

- You get 6 tries. After each attempt, Wordle will tell you the distance, direction and proximity of your guess to the actual country/territory answer of the day
- You can add difficulty modifiers to increase the difficulty factor of the game for your next game play the following day.
You can do this in 3 ways:
1. Replace proximity percent by size percent.
2. Hide the country image for more of a challenge.
3. Randomly rotate the country image. - You get one country to guess per day.
Globle
- Another game to test your knowledge of the location of a country in relation to another country.
- You type in your 1st guess. The game will then tell you how many far away (in kms) today’s country answer is away from your guess. If you country guess is getting closer, the country colour will be ‘hotter’.
- There are 4 colours: a peach colour, then an orange colour, then a dark orange colour then if it’s a red colour, you’re getting very close to the answer country.
- You can keep guessing different countries until you get the right answer.

- If you’re a foodie, you may want to test out your knowledge of the culinary arts by guessing a food related word which may include cooking techniques, appliances, or names of famous chefs.
- You get 6 tries to guess a 5-letter word.
- You get one Phoodle word to try each day.

- Foodle is another Wordle style game related to food terms.
- You get 6 tries to guess a 5-letter word.
- You can also customize the game a bit in ‘Settings’. You can choose to only guess Food Words like ramen or pizza, but not spoon. You can choose ‘Hard Mode’.
- You can click on the Foodle title and select to play the game daily, hourly or play infinite games.
Answers for Games Like Wordle
Occasionally you may get stuck and can’t solve the answer for that day’s word answer. Despair no more!
You can simply type in the Wordle-like game name plus the word answer and you’ll see a list of results that will take you to the site with the answer.
For example, if you type into Google: ‘Taylordle answer’ the first link is to the GadgetGrasp website’s Taylordle Answer Today article. Further down the page, the post lists ‘All Taylordle Answers’ since June 1, 2022.
